Hello all, this is my first post, hopefully to be the first of many. I found this place little over a year ago and have had it at the bottom of my bookmarks since then, waiting until I had some money to spare to put towards what looks to be an exciting hobby.
I'm new enough to handling circuits that I decided it would be in my best interests to buy a couple pre-made drivers until I have the skills necessary to make my own. I bought these from the Aixiz site (eBay page linked because the information is actually formatted properly there):
80 - 500ma Driver
I'm looking for an output of 400ma, but even at or above an input of 5.5V, the output I'm measuring for both with my test load is maxing out at 253ma. This led me to check the page and note that this is what I should expect if I had replaced the 5.6ohm resistors with a 10ohm pair. I was suspicious that mine had shipped with 10ohm resistors instead, but this isn't the case (even though the numbers written on those resistors are different and made me even more suspicious). I'm afraid I don't know much about troubleshooting these types of problems, and I was hoping someone might have an idea what could be wrong.
Thanks for reading!
