So I recently ordered a 400mW Blu Ray Laser from O-like and it wont burn. The dot looks Solid, but it wont burn black paper at all. I have decided the UltraFire Battery that came with it isn't working like it should. Does anyone know if the Solar Force 18650 protected 2400mAh Battery is a good rechargable battery? :umbrella:

Solar force batteries are fine.

Sochi, tenergy, aw, etc, basically any name brand protected battery will be good.

I would not call these cells name brands.
Some of AW cells are name brand.

Sanyo, Panasonic, LG, & Samsung are "name brands", U.L. listed, and I would trust.

Hmm, maybe "name brand" was a poor choice in wording. What I meant is any decent quality battery would do.

Blu-ray will use a boost driver, therefore you want a cell that will not sag under heavy loads.

Yeah, don't get ultrafires or anything with "fire" in their name.... unreliable and a safety hazard.
