setting SL-SD-3 driver

Hello, I have a question about this diode driver. I have the one from 1.6A to 2.3A. I need to set it to its minimum 1.6A... Ive heard somewhere that if I set it completely Counter Clockwise its 2.3A and completely Clockwise its 1.6A. Is it true?

Grab a few diodes and an ammeter to check it yourself, better safe than sorry.
