G'day

Saw these the other day,

2x Panasonic NCR 18650 A 3100mAh Lithium Li-Ion battery | eBay

$(KGrHqUOKpYE5c1DIrczBO(Zs)h7Vw~~60_3.JPG

they claim 3100mAh typical and 2950mAh minimum!

Some testing will have to be done on these puppies!

That is quite unbelievable. I have never seen batteries of such quality except AWs from lighthound. The only problem is the site... ebay...

The graph looks interesting. But at ~12$ a cell? kinda pricey... Id rather go for some 2.5Ah cells.

I think these batteries have been out for a while now. IIRC, Readilast and AW use Panasonic NCR 18650s in their 2900 mAh versions. They have very good discharge/capacity rates.

At $14.00 each that is a good deal if they really can pack in a full 2950mAh

Someone make a report on these when they get them...

Yah! I would be interested, but even more so, if I could get them a bit lower in price...? -GH

My tests on the different 18650's i carry.

These where all fully charged straight off the charger.

Using a 3W 5ohm ceramic resistor.

Panasonic NCR18650A 3100mAh

V1=4.137 VDC No Load
V2=3.987 VDC Loaded
R = 5.2 ohms
Internal resistance : 203 mOhms @ 0.76A

Sanyo 2600mAh

V1=4.155 VDC No Load
V2=4.030 VDC Loaded
R = 5.2 ohms
Internal resistance : 161 mOhms @ 0.77A

Panasonic NCR18650 2900mAh

V1=4.133 VDC No Load
V2=3.985 VDC Loaded
R = 5.2 ohms
Internal resistance : 193 mOhms @ 0.76A

Ultrafire "4000"mAh (Closer to 1600mAh)

V1=4.143 VDC No Load
V2=3.995 VDC Loaded
R = 5.2 ohms
Internal resistance : 192 mOhms @ 0.76A

According to Battery Testing Experts

75-150 mOhm - Excellent
150-250 mOhm - Good
250-350 mOhm - Marginal
350-Up mOhm - Bad
