Nitecore/Good Chargers Recently?

Anyone get a Nitecore charger recently? I'm still using WL's cheapo chargers and I've got some nice Panasonic's, Sony's, and Sanyo's  but anyway, I've heard the Nitecores are good chargers, but I've seen rather hasty solderwork and such reviewed on here. Any recommendations? If not a Nitecore, what should I get? Thanks

Nitecore is a ok charger and I think nearly all of them work even with bad soldering.

Can't exspect much more for that price.

I've got a Nitecore 2 cell charger and had no problems with it.

My quality cells don't even get warm in it and it's fast.

Yes. I bought a Nightcore i2 a few months ago and am very happy with it.

ditto, can't go wrong with them even with dodgy soldering, still better than the chepo chargers

Bought a nitecore from Len at SELEM two months ago. I have a very old Ultrafire that I like better but not made anymore. (Springs on it aren't as flakey and consistently charges without issues)

Otherwise I'm with the others, it works and the LED's are a nice touch.

Got a nitecore i4 from illumination supply, very happy with it. Considering buying another, very handy because it charges both Lithium and NiMh

I also got an i2 from Illumination Supply. I love it. My only suggestion would be to get the i4 instead of the i2. I never thought I'd have the need to charge four batteries at once, but it doesn't take too long in this hobby to get to that point. :)

Ahhh I wish I would have grabbed more from IS when I ran that GB! If there is enough interest I can talk to Craig about setting another GB up. Id buy another i4 in a heartbeat!

Xtar model has a few new features I like:

Charge Rates of 0.25, 0.5 and 1 amp.

Of course the price is higher.

Yes the xtar is nice but what sucks vs the notecore is limited battery types it can charge

If that happens let me know, I'd be in.

Own 1 i2 from len and bought 2 i4 units. Very happy with them. If you saw how many units I have you would understand.

Have tested them charging an eneloop, LiFePO4, 3.2V and 3.7V cell all at the same time and it worked just fine. What's more important is they are safer than those cheap ones but I would still not leave lithiums unatended

Generally speaking? or do you mean for the charger? I have bought plenty of items on Amazon with no problem including two chargers, just got a second one because my first one only charges 16340's but I need another one for a new laser I will put together in a few days, so I bought a "Trustfire Multifunctional Charger" I like it so far. As for the Nitecore i4 Amazon might not be the cheapest but yes its OK to buy it there.
