Need host to fit amc7135 driver and 9mm to-5 infrared laser diode, any ideas? Preferably to fit ultra fire 18650 battery as well

Also how can I get a further distance, only seems to burn at about 9 inches, do I need a different lens or something?

Have you thought about just getting a regular popular host (like a C6, or a 501B) and using a custom heatsink?

AMC7135 is a chip.

Drivers utilizing it are usually all standard 17mm board drivers and can be mounted in majority of my heatsink and hosts they fit.

TO-5 is what, 9mm? You'd need a 9mm module to fit that. I don't usually offer that but if you need it I can make it, or any number of other machinists on the forums here, some of which may be geographically closer to you so you can have the stuff much faster.

Now your problems only fall upon which host you want. I assume you use only one 18650 battery? C6, Ultrafire 501b as people mentioned it, C1/C2 will also do, SAIK can fit even larger battery. Plenty of options.

Ok got 501b delivered and have my diode currently in a 9mm axis module. But I'm gonna need a heatsink to fit the module and the 501b. Can anyone recommend a cheap one?

Eudaimonium makes some, but he's in croatia, no clue what shipping would be. IIRC, he sold a batch to a US distributor a while back

Shipping is free, but takes a lot of time, more so now than usual. Got some bulk orders to take care of first. Could take extra week. Or maybe even two, depending on how things roll from here. Don't hold your breath.

Might be better to get it done locally or at least by someone in your country if you're in a hurry.

Just cuz it was cheaper at the time when I bought it otherwise would have gone for blue one. I would like to get some glasses but they are so expensive can you point me in right direction for cheap infrared glasses as well?

I'm pretty sure he does, Fiddy.

There's nothing wrong with looking for cheaper "good enough" alternatives. Money doesn't grow on trees on every part of the world.

I can understand his request. Try to do the same.

I dont think he does yet. 11 post newbie wanting a cheap burning laser and cheap safety glasses after I mentioned the safety glasses. I would recommend getting a cheap visible pointer first.

Never judge people by post numbers, my friend.

Didn't we all once look for cheap burning lasers? :D Half of us are here for it.

I do not personally know of any cheap IR protection goggles, but in any event, look for "Eagle Pair", those are usually high quality and quite affordable. I believe I once saw one of their IR models for $15 or something but don't quote me on that, I am not 100% sure.

I will judge by post count and reps. especially Most of the time its a good representation of how involoved they are on the forum. There are cheap glasses out there but I wouldnt trust them as far as I could throw them.
