Hey guys,

So I built a test load using 6 x IN5822 and a 1ohn resistor. It give a pretty accurate result for my 445nm diode. However it seem to give a much higher reading for the 405nm diode. Isn't that 445nm and 405nm diode are using the same test load? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :thanks:

The 405nm has a higher Vf. You should add one more diode to the testload.

Yes - you should check the datasheets of your specific diodes to see what their forward voltage drop is and how many of them do you need to accurately represent any actual laser diode's drop voltage.
