I have one of Lazeerer's 405nm Diodes and an X-Boost and I wired the laser as host-positive. I used the case pin to attach to the positive lead on the driver input and used the battery tube's wire to go to the negative lead on the driver input. It turns on....is it safe to run like this? I know some drivers like things only a certain way. Other than being unconventional with regards to diode lasers have i fucked up or is this okay? I would rather not rewire everything. This is the first laser I have built in months and I am just glad to be back on the horse, so to speak. I have no urge to rip open my laser to try to rewire unless absolutely necessary.
Thanks,
Isaac
PS - You electrical engineering gods may scoff at my concern, but as one who knows not I find myself in a position of "better safe than sorry".
