Zombie m140? Define it

Btw, the last post is more than half a year ago. Start a new thread instead of bring this thread up again

Not really any point in starting a new thread. Necro posts are ok when its relevant, it's the "duh cool thread bro" posts that aren't appreciated.

So dregalado, how have you been setting the current on your drivers thus far? Have you been using a proper test load? Also, what drivers have you been using? What batteries? If you used a test load, did you make sure you used the proper number of diodes? Because if you set your driver to say, 1.8A but the test load was pulling 8V, then at the proper voltage (4.6ish), the driver could be outputting a lot more current, potentially nore than the diode could handle.

Ok I have my new 140 still wrapped from mailbox and regardless what d driver I'm going to use ill have my build made with a zombie .This is like a dress rehearsal for the new diode install off it is a lpc826 then, naturally I need to use a like zombie of avail.because as you stated ,a blue ray diode is not going to do any thing asset two volts vice versa if I set my driver with a405nm that is running six to nine volts ill really blow my 650 nm twin can .so this type of load too test my driver is only good if I have the appropriate matching new diode also I might add that I will they to be quick because the test zombie will get hot quick I will set my progress for amps on the proper scale and power it up as if it is the new diode realizing that it is a zombie relieves the stress because when I'm really putting a new diode in I'm strapped to gnd and on my slab and the consequences for one wrong move could cost me forty bucks and a week wait for a new diode.Yes it is stressful but that makes success all the sweeter when the pure beam lights up for the first time on the creation of my own hands . I don't know about you because you might have done this a hundered times but I love to show my work to all.
