Lpc-815 Sled Red Laser Diode

Hey guys... im new to this sort of stuff...
I bought a Lpc-815 sled for the red laser diode in it... its 250-300Mw ...
I also bought a axiz module.
I heard that a lot of lasers die from a lot of volts and that you need to buy a driver... What type of type of driver do i need to buy how much mA should it be?
GhostDrive2 <--- I found that... how much mA do i need?
And after i buy that, how much Volts do i need to run it at? 2 AA batteries? 4 AA batteries?

I suggest a linear driver like Ghostdrive, Mogash driver, LM317 etc. and set it to 300-400mA current.

So with that think i posted in the thread should i buy
301 mA, 355mA or 395mA ???
And how much Volts should i run them from? 2 AA batteries?

For 250mW-300mW set the driver at 395mA. The linear drivers work only if the input voltage is higher than Vf of the diode. In your case 4AA or 2 li-ion batteries.
