Default Laser power drops with TTL hook up

Hi when the TTL is wired up the laser loses power bad it powers on/off like it should but no power
Mach 3,TB6560 board
i have it on pin17
i have a another driver are they a way to add a TTL to it someway

Why don't you take a picture of how you have it wired up. Maybe something is shorted or miswired.

it all wired right i thank it is a bad driver i have another one are a way to add TTL to a driver that don't have it any one

I did try that to i dont have another on the way but i do have a drive that dont have the TTL but would like to add it to it is they away to add TTL that driver ?

You can use any driver as a TTL driver, as long as it doesn't have soft start and you don't switch it too frequently. Seeing as you're using it with a TB6560 stepper motor driver board, I gather this is for a laser engraver/cutter, in which case you can just use a normal driver and a transistor/relay to turn it on and off. Most of those multi axis breakout boards have an onboard relay used to control the spindle. You can map that relay (Usually pin 16, but check the datasheet for the board) to the Z axis in Mach3, so the relay comes on when the Z axis moves down. Of course using a TTL laser is more elegant.

Thanks for the reply i bought a 1 Channel Isolated 5V Relay Module Coupling For Arduino PIC AVR DSP ARM will this work if it will where does it need to be wired between the driver and laser or between the power and driver
