This is interesting indeed, would have to try it out but i highly doubt it would be anywhere near 2600mAh - means you would be lucky if it chargers your 1.5Ah battery from 10% to Full Charge..

I once saw a small 1AA model of this but now they come in usb output, thats niice!

I was thinking it could be the actual battery for a laser.

Super easy to recharge. All you need is a tiny USB connector from it to your driver and you just unplug it from the driver, plug it in to a computer or whatever, charge it, then plug it back in to your laser.

Depending on what your driver needs.

It might work really well with FoulMists FMT'S driver...

Not sure if those are rated for high discharge currents. Probably there is a protection that won't allow high currents.

Good point, even if there isn't - the battery may not be capable of supplying a blue. Maybe a red or violet?

I have a similar battery pack however the circuitry doesn't allow more than 5v at 1A out. Pulling more than this will over current and more than likely destroy the current limiting or charging IC.
I'd suggest looking into an R/C liPoly pack for doing any blue portables or make your own.
