Innolasers a scam?

A couple of weeks ago I ordered a new driver that seems to be well regarded, from innolasers.com. FlexMOD 3

Problem is I have never received it. I have emailed them three times, submitted a ticket etc. but they have never replied. :scowl:

I sent one more email a few minutes ago telling them if they don't respond by end of Monday I will have to file a fraud report with my bank.

Also when I tried to log in to check status the site says there is no account with the same email I used to place the order. Last week I could log in to view status which was empty. Now I cannot even do that much.

That means I have to cancel my credit card and have it replaced then change my PayPal, Amazon etc. This is a pain all due to a company with poor customer support. Makes me think if they cannot answer an email that I could not count on the quality of the products either.

Any one else had problems ordering from Innolaser?

Any suggestions as to a good analog modulated driver for 2W blue lasers?

Thanks.

Try calling them on the phone --they are an Oregon company and have a phone number on web site.

I finally had to file a dispute with my bank. No response.

The phone is nothing but a free "Google Voice" number. left messages twice. never a reply.

Tried WHOIS for both domains. Same owner but two addresses. One in Cleveland Ohio and one in Oregon. Same email listed on both. The WHOIS phone is disconnected.

Then the fact that I am now unable to track the order because my email and account seems to have vanished from their web site.

Just all too suspicious to risk my credit card information. Bummer.

The module looked like what I need but my cash is now tied up until bank returns my money.

If you still need a FlexMod P3 illumination supply sells them, and they are reliable.

paulkruger you ever have any luck?

Mine was DOA and never heard a word.

This business listed in Cleveland Ohio, is on my way to work.

Edit: No, i'm not looking to cause any trouble. Would be nice to know if there was a source of them local. Based on what they say they do at this place, i might have uses for them for other projects.

I think poor business practices. I did finally get my driver and a promise to refund shipping which never happened.

It took over a month to show up and in all that time they never replied to any attempt to communicate with them.

I would not touch them with a 10' laser beam!:yabbmad:

wish I had researched this guy first, I fell into the same hole. Ordered a flexmod a week ago and paid for the fast shipping, still no tracking. Numerous attempts to contact via phone and email but nothing. hopefully it will come some time, but untill then....

Wow, bummer you guys had to deal with such BS and piss poor business practices. Thanks for letting us know. I wonder of you ever would have received your items had you not got your bank involved. This is why I insist on using Paypal for every transaction. Safer security than entering debit card information and you have more protection. I love Paypal.

Not making excuses for Dr Lava when he turns into Dr Who-

but to be fair Paul left us hanging about this intil asked much later -
so M1T0s1s please let us know--

paul
I hope you got your flexdrive without actually getting bank- whatever involved.
Andrew is my friend BUT I would not be too pissed off/surprized if I also had to wait on P3s-and once he refunded my money -

so when I can buy I buy several --as you can see they dont spoil or lose value-

Craig is a great guy to deal with so go for that--

you can also sometimes get them from Jeff 'flaminpyro' who lives up that way- and afaik there is nothing really still there in Cleveland. this is not a new thing at all-
so many of us have kinds learned to live with it. maybe gentle reminders work better than more aggressive approaches- I think that at least once IIRC a bad batch was made in China - so big wait- and maybe he is building each from parts- - the move last year- new baby- he didnt even make SELEM 2014..-

- so hope it works out for all.. hak
