I just ran my Li-ion batteries down far enough for the Super X Drive low voltage protection to cut off the laser ! It's the first time I've ever done that ! I'm working on the Hammers Cylindrical Lens Pair Fast Axis Correction set up and was running tests on and off and I lost track of how much on time that set had on them and the next thing I knew the laser cut off ! At first a thought flashed through my head that I had ran it too long and burned something up !

But I didn't thank god !

Protecting your batteries from being discharged too much? I guess you tried again later to make sure it wasn't due to the driver getting so hot it shut down?

I immediately put a dif set of batteries in it and it fired right up, Plus I put them in the charger and they are still charging as I'm typing this ! This is for sure the longest any set of batteries i have took to charge !

Your heat sink is working well if you can drain your batteries before the driver gets too hot!

I was running it on, off, on, off, through out the day, if I put a full set of batteries in it would get too hot awhile before the batteries ran down too low....
