It was surprisingly easy. I had no clue how to do it and I stated it in the email, and I just send the .brd file and told him I would like 3 sets of 10 or 30 in all. Next email was a buy it now link via paypal or google checkout. Easy as hell!

Good luck. I couldn't figure out the PID for the life of me. Maybe its because the manual was in chinglish.

EDIT: Just checked my mail. Got my arduino reflow shield! WOOT WOOT! Time to build my oven :D

there are codes on the pid I think you have to enter to get into the right mode. I'm not too sure yet but a friend of mines mom has one on her kiln and I figured 'If that biache' can figure one out I can!!!' lol! Mine Also came with NO! instructions. I'd take the chinglish over none...

Lol. Well, hope you have more luck then I did. Search the part number in google and try to see if you can find a manual.

it's just a matter of telling it how hot to get and for how long and how cold to get and for how long and to stay at this temp for how long. basically plotting a graph it can understand.

the relay is just a switch mine will take 3-32v DC in and will trigger the switch that can have 24-380V AC line. so the thermocouple will tell the pid when to turn on and off the relay which controles the elements in the oven.

reading top to bottom the top is you AC the bottom is your DC the DC is what switches the AC on and off. I really havent had a chance to get into this yet. So I will make a post explaining everything I find out once I get going on it.

Hey guys, I realized I forgot to mention there is an inductor that fits the round board better. Digikey part number SDR0805-100MLCT-ND

It's a bit taller but it's round and not as wide ;)

Also, kiz, I made the first version of this round board then me and rhd emailed it back and forth making revisions each time until we were satisfied. I believe wolfman made one, but he didn't post it (maybe was having troubles with it idk) so I went ahead and made my own :D

Tsteele, you did type the command RATSNEST right? If you did im not sure what the air wire is about. Might have something to do with the way the battery contact side is made. I'll check it out, but it shouldn't cause any trouble.

Oh I see in your description for item say's "Potentiometer Input Resistance 500KΩ (Potentiometer is Not Included) " So you may need to add a pot? I duno why would you have to pot the input on a relay! Hmm Nope nothing pops into brain...

Kewl Thanks Ben it's a really tight squeeze to get it in.. I think it was touching the IC. And I didnt know that it was your design first one I saw was posted by wolf so I assumed he made it. Good job on it. I just got a call from Digi checking on my order askin if everything was ok.. There is service!!!
