Need help please I have several 2w 808NM red laser diodes run on 2.8 threw 3 v and 1.5 amp. It's positive ground and I'm not sure of how to set up a driver for this I have several adjustable power supplies and several drivers buy set for 1w blue lasers any ideas would b grateful my email is dvdkyle14@gmail.com feel free to send schematics or build ideas

808nm is NOT red. It's NIR, be very careful with it.

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to ask. What you want for these diodes is a 1.5A constant current driver.

Thanks I guess my biggest concern is that it is positive ground Im not familiar with it and don't know if the diode needs the case earth grounded or if the pins are reversed etc.

case-positive simply means that the + connection is continuous with the case of the diode. This needs to be kept in mind if you are using the case of the final device as a ground or other common potential point.

Thank you. Im just going to burn I have built others red ,blue but this seems to be tricky Im not sure why
