Open message regarding Dr Lava and the P3-
After personal convos with Andrew I have concluded myself and many others are way off in our opinions. I will only address the current GB.
The order was placed long ago for the GB and extras and the reason we do not have them already is NOT due to anything Andrew did or did NOT do. They are ATM held up solely by red tape in China. NO fault of any kind by Andrew. Nothing much more can be done to have them delivered to Andrew and then re-shipped tp all of us in the last P3 GB. In the past I now suspect the times we could not get them any time we wanted was again not due to a lack of Andrew's efforts to keep them in supply at all times. Grad school in Ohio and growing family and a cross country move ALL come before lasers just like LIFE often does.
To Andrew I say here, like I did last week in person at SELEM I regret assuming he had dropped he ball on the P3s or did not care if we had them or were in need of them I was WAY wrong=
I met him at SELEM 2010 --he did not know me in any way but was kind-helpful and took the time from that OH-SO SHORT weekend to give me help to repair a diy handheld that died. So for a long time I felt he was a great guy but over time, reading opinions to the contrary I began to feel differently, which was wrong, I had DrLava spot-on for who he is after our first encounter. I was so impressed with the LSX demo especally the part done by Swamidog. He had most all of us enthralled with his LSX demo
that unless there is an objection of conflict of interest I would like to sell LSX just like I do for AixiZ and Pangolin. The Laser Cam form Lava is uber cool.
Having both makes a lot of sense to me.
I , as some of you know have been a associate/friend at AixiZ= and that more came about of the sheer fact the many of us have very few living close the speaks 'LASER'. I live less than an hours drive from Dr Chuck. We both look fwd to getting together to chat about whats new at the forums and the world of lasers. I would like to feel I played a part albeit small, in AixiZ becoming the newest and now one to the biggest Pangolin USA dealers-
Back to SELEM and Andrew...
This is one of the more addicting aspects of LEMS At these events things are reversed- we are surrounded by people who 'get it'& are never asking WHY?
Go to one and you will see...
WE will get our P3s asap- buy extras while you can and remember that Jeff 'Flaminpyro'(another great friend) is he next best source from Andrew himself.
I have much more to share with you all regarding SELEM- start NOW to plan attending in 2014- SAME August weekend around the 17th- same place in Newton NC.
Line yourself up with another laserist and each bring a guest or two the ONLY thing SELEM really needs is bigger attendance and that includeds guests who attend free. Get your 'car-pool' organized FIRST.
all the rest will fall into place. If you are lucky at SELEM you will meet so many great people and that is priceless.
