Howdy all,
I wanted to create a lab based driver for precision current driving up to 3A+ with low ripple. First question would be what is the peak voltage that I should design for in order to be able to drive all hobbyist diodes currently in use. 7V peak should be enough to cover all of them correct?
Here was my discrete implementation such that I could use an MCU to control it. Probably not the most simple thing in the world. If anybody has a better idea i'd love to hear it as well as any feedback for my existing circuit .
