Don't be harsh. Try asking a new module for testing, show the defects in pictures and mention that another member in LPF found the defects for you, they maybe will send you another, good one.

in rayfoss, you get the whole sled, with optics (nice dichros) and everything it includes factory wise, more worth than EBAY diode-only.

I was wondering, what should i know about this driver so i won't burn any other laser diodes with it?
One thing i know for sure right now is that, if i power the driver without the diode and then solder the diode on it, the cap will burn the diode. So i will have to discharge the cap, if i want to connect any diode to the circuit.
