-Polarity holes to connect to your DMM
-Up to 3A safely
AA might not be the best power source. Otherwise sounds interesting

I'm missing something - why would a test load require batteries?

for the input! And yeah I just realized that AA is only 1.5 volts. maybe i will use 18650. Its just going to cost me some more money. If it were to work properly how much do you think it will be worth?

Im assuming it is so the driver can just be dropped an place with a power source and test load then removed and installed.

As a plug and play so instead of wiring the flexdrive to its own power supply then testing it, you just plug it into the test load then test. It makes the set up very clean. that way once you have set the driver, you can then install it.

with AA unless your wiring quite a dew in both parallel and series you wont get enough current to supply high power builds. I used AAs in my first build and ran into all sorts of problems that were fixed by using an 18650.

I updated it and found a new 18650 battery holder. Should work properly now. Also how many of those hosts do you still have!? And how long will they be in stock? They look great!

That should work much better

Thanks for the kind words! They are great hosts. Lots of mass for heatsinking and extremely long run times with integrated driver sinking area. Ive let mine run with no problems what so ever for well over 10 minutes at 1200mA and it was just warm at that point.

I have quite a few of the flashlights but I am going to be closing the list soon and after making heatsinks for all the preorders ill keep the rest of the flashlights for a rainy day. They just require way to much machining for the price im selling them at and I have some other projects in mind. If you want one let me know soon because ill probably close the list by the weekend.
