Converting a fixed output driver

Hi everybody,
I have a 4a.sxd driver, i would like to change it to 2.4a. Is this possible and if so, what do I do?

You would need to replace the current sense resistor. All you need is a rudimentary understanding of ohm's law and SMD soldering skills/equipment. If you do not have these things, it is easier to simply buy a 2.4A driver.
