So I'm hoping this is in the right section, but I was browsing on Ebay again and found something pretty cool, or at least it looks pretty cool. price tag might be a little stiff, well I'll let the pros decide here's the link

Yea, those air hose fittings are the same ones we use at my workplace. Definitely designed for industrial use, and I have learned that manufacturers get charged absolutely obscene prices for pretty much everything they order that isn't actual build material. Lol.

Lol 230$ for a glorified syringe? No thanks.

I thought the same thing.. Maybe if it automated the fulx and new exactly how much needed on a board, maybe I'd pay that Mich for it..

It wouldn't work
multipurpose dispensing valve designed for dispensing low viscosity fluids such as adhesives, solvents, alcohols, UV cure resins.

I'm pretty sure solder paste wouldn't fall under the low viscosity fluid category.

Most professional automated pick and place systems use a stainless steel stencil for applying paste, and hobby level systems just use a standard syringe with an actuator on the plunger.
