Hello, Ive got this driver Adjustable Current Laser Diode Driver 80 500mA w TTL | eBay Im confused how can I make it work. Id like to use 2x cr123a or 1x 18650 battery, I have a C6 host with battery contact board in it but dont know how to connect the driver to the battery. Those diodes can output almost 400mw pulsed I hope I can do that using the TTL but have no idea how does it work, can anybody help me?

I'm assuming these are the ML101, correct?
The pulse rating is <30ns. That is
nanoseconds. That is one hell of a fast
pulse. IF these drivers could do that,
which I guarantee they cannot, you would
still need something to pulse it with. I
recommend just connecting the TTL input to
Power"+" and running CW. Set the current
to about 400mA. These drivers will need
heatsinking at that current. Only use a
single 18650 cell.

Also don't start a thread and then start
asking the same question in another
thread. The fact that it's a necro makes
it twice as bad.

I removed your other thread.

Just because it was in a different section doesn't mean you can post the exact same thread elsewhere.

From your question I would say you have gotten ahead of yourself by not reading all here at LPF on this subject-

we have more questions for you than you do for us.

IF you are unfamiliar with this list then start searching abd reading and we will see you in a few weeks.... ;-)

ESD
DMM
Dummy Load
grounded soldering station
diode press tool
Pin-out
ttl blanking
thermal paste
helping hands
proper kind of solder
and wire-- just for starters

If you contact AixiZ you will be sent to me ==so -- here I am

they are a parts house and a good one- but not a 'laser building school'.

I see alll the places in the pics you posted--

defective parts are extremely rare

but fails by newcomers are VERY common

& not by faulty parts--

good luck----Len

Sorry for duplicating threads, have all tools grounded, wrist strip, esd pad etc...when i connected battery(+) to ttl + and battery (-) to power (-) the i connected dummy load it showed 0mA, then i switched battery (+) to power (+) and same result
