I have ordered a 1W diode from DTR. I have read in this forum that that driver is not very good. I want about 1,2 to 1,5A. ANy help ????

Hey. You can use the flex drive v5 from Dr.Lava, use the preset current option when ordering one. If you plan to drive your diode at that current you will need to heatsink the driver using thermal glue and a piece of aluminum.

Only thing is that you need 6v-9v input. If you were planning to use an 18650 buy 2 CR123a 3.7v Rechargeable ones instead.
