A quick search suggests AW does not make a 18350 flat top. For the Challenger II the battery has to be an 18350 unprotected flat top due to internal size limitation of the Challenger II.

Flat top Efests work perfect in the Challenger 2, don't need any spacers/magnets. A pair of 18350s of myne are almost inset of the battery shrink wrap and they somehow always make contact with zero issues!!

I have an I2 and a D4 Nitecore, along with another dozen cheap Trustfire/Ultrafire chargers.

Unless you are getting into 10440s or smaller and/or 32650s, Nitecore chargers are very reliable and safe.

the 10440s and the 32650s don't fit correctly in the I2 or the D4, you can make the 10440s work, but you have to fiddle with them to do it.

32650 need a bigger charger :(

icecruncher, that's a good point about those extra small, or large batteries. Most chargers won't do the 32650's, and many need spacers (magnets) for the short 10440's

A while back I found THIS charger that will accept both 10440's, & 32650's. It is an Xtar brand which is a very good charger; I don't own this particular charger, but have a different Xtar 4 slot model, and it's been a great charger.

I took a look at the Xtar and Nitecore. I think I'm going with the Xtar charger.

I can always add another charger. :) - And I just ordered one :)

Right now I have a separate single 32650 charger that was cheap but only has a LED, that looks much better. I appreciate that link

Now to find something for 10180 and 10280 batteries :)

Not sure if this helps, but it's worth noting that 16340's are about the same size being 2mm smaller in diameter, and 1mm smaller in length.

What do you mean when you say they're not ideal? And they do come with a charger. I saw everyone saying they should be unprotected but these may be protected but I'm not sure..

I know, the fact that they come with a charger is why you should get them. ____fire batteries are slightly lower capacity than more expensive brands, though the difference is not as great with 18350s as with 18650s.

Okay. So these will for sure work with my Sanwu Challenger II right? Do you know if they're protected or unprotected? Do I have to worry about that?

Yes, they should work. They are unprotected cells, so just make sure not to short them out or overcharge them. :beer:
