I need to build an adjustable 20-110Amp Driver for a 100Watt Diode Bar/Array. Has anyone done this? The largest capacity of current regulation I have seen in an IC is 3A... and I don't want to hook up 40 of these! haha

Power Supply gives an output of 5V 150A

808nm 100Watt Diode Bar Array
Threshold Current: 20A
Operating Current: 100-110A
Operating Voltage: 1.8-2.3V

Thanks!

Try looking on eBay...

That's where I found our Opto Power Corporation 40 Amp
Laser Driver PS that we use in the shop....

100Amp drivers are a bit scarce on ebay... the principles are simple enough that I could build one, perhaps not as pretty... but for a fraction of the cost. I'm just wondering if anyone has seen some heavier circuitry parts... and where I can snag some.

EDIT:
Found some 10Amp regulator ICs… they’re about $10 a piece. I did notice some current drivers/power supplies (not exactly the specs I want) on ebay… but if I could find one for $350-ish then it actually would be worth just buying one…
