====================================

The Shadow TC6 XM-L T6 is a well built light.

The threads are smooth but did not come lubed. The threads are not square. Double o-rings are used and were not lubed.

The finish is Type II Anodize. It has a few flaws in the finish. Some spots. Color matching between parts is excellent, no mismatch of colors.

There were 2 options for the light levels. 3, high, medium and low. The other option is a 4 level light, high, medium, low and strobe.

I just noticed there was 2 options for the reflector. OP and MIL. I guess MIL is smooth. I should have paid attention to this because I like MIL (SMO) reflectors.

The cost for the different options were the same.

The beam is smooth. It does have the characteristic very slight green tint around the hot spot. I believe this is a Cool White (CW) XM-L. The website did not state what kind of led, cool white, neutral or warm. I do like CW lights.

The Shadow TC6 XM-L T6 always turns on high. I don't mind because I like my lights to turn on high. It just like some of the user interfaces of the XENO lights I have. I tend to not purchase lights that turn on either low or medium when they do not memorize it's last level when shut off.

I was surprised how nice the beam is. Also the light level in high. I thought it might be less bright than it is.

The battery tube is on the small size for battery width. My AW Black 18650 fit tight and I would have to remove the label to make it fit. Forget using Redilast 2900mAh 3.7V Li-ion Batteries they won't fit. The Trustfire 18650 2400mAh 3.7V Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries fit with no problems.

No lanyard, holster, instructions or o-rings are included. Maybe that's why this light was priced IMO a low price.

I purchased the Shadow TC6 XM-L T6 from CN Quality Goods for $45.00 + $9.53 (Shipping) = $54.53 Shipped.

Shipping took 20 days.

For the money thats a nice light. Quality appears to be good. Hows an extendid duty cycle of 10-15 minutes on this light?

I have a JetBeam MXIII with SST-50 and with XM-L T6. Both with battery extensions ( 2 *28650s) and either can run for 10 minutes and remain cold. The XM-L is rated at 700 OTF and 1000 lumens for the SST-50 and similar build and cosmetically close to this light . I do run a Jetbean pressure switch tail cap. Your torch looks like its working well with the OP deflector . Hows the throw and do you have anything to compare it to? for 45 bucks its wortth the buy

I think i paid a few bucks more for my JetBeams but they surpass any and all expectations had for a long throw search light.....Throw isnt the word

Its more like hail mary of flood light...I'll post some pics if anyone is intersted in them

That looks pretty good. That's too bad there is no holster for it though.

DarkSide, I'd like to see those pictures
