Yup, you need to PM or email c0ld so he can add you a whitelist. It used to be password based, but a certain banned troll kept sneaking in, so the system was updated last year.

Also, MT-G2 was meant for fixed lighting anyways, not really meant to be collimated to the same degree as other LEDs. I think the main advantage you get is the number of lumens from one package, meaning you can use one reflector instead of three, meaning you can use a larger reflector for better light control. Except that your optical source is huge, so you don't really have THAT much light control.

Crelant lists it as OTF lumens, so that's pretty cool. Also, it should be neutral white, so that already cuts into some of the LED efficacy. And infinitely variable brightness is pretty cool too.

Not to mention, now you have a nice host for the next big lighting class directional array.

At distance, what has a bigger spot, the Crelant or the skyray king?

Crelant has a much smaller spot... it throws rather well, and with a large beam. Similar to TK75.

I would agree with you on the host, but for $137... no thanks :p
