Before I start I gotta throw a shout out to Hak for putting this idea in my head, also bloom for the phlatlights.
The parts I used are....
Amico AC to DC 5V 6A Regulated Switching Power Supply Converter for LED Display
PT-54 Phlatlight Red
PT-54 Phlatlight Blue
Heatsink that comes from DTR when you buy one of his phlatlights
Fan from a PS2
Guitar pickup selector (Just ordered a 2P3T switch rated for 15A)
SPST Switch
I have the Phlatlights running in series when they are both on. The fan also has an on/off switch on it and it does a pretty good job at keeping them cool. When only 1 light is on it does get hot but I am only giving it limited run time like this because of the load on the guitar pickup selector... it's not made for 6A.
The coolest thing is it makes everything look like a 3D movie I haven't pulled out the red and blue glasses though lol
