hi, I'm plan on buying some new flashlight. I'd like to have a flashlight with SSC P7 led inside (or better :)), thrower, opreated by (one) 18650 (preffered) or CR123A LiIon batteries.
I'd prefer buying from DX, but other sites (TRUSTED) shouldn't be problem...

I found these two:
DealExtreme: $28.75 MTE SF-15 SSC P7-D-SXO 5-Mode Memory 900-Lumen LED Flashlight (1*18650)
DealExtreme: $31.02 MTE SSC P7 C-Bin 900-Lumen 2-Mode LED Flashlight (1*18650)

btw this one isn't so bright but looks damn c00l :D A4 3W Three Modes Capacity Q3 Light Bulb Flashlight Lamp Torch with Clip China Wholesale - Everbuying.com is it worth it? does anyone own it?

can you recommend me which to choose? any help is welcome :thanks:

It amongst all of their single 18650 P7 lights are nice and bright. If you are specifically looking for 900 lumens then you will not get it in a light $<40. If you just want a nice light then go for that one you mentioned. It will serve you well.

I would recommend an R5, considering it's only a tiny bit dimmer, and you get 3x the runtime. But if you need a P7, my Spiderfire P7 is my favorite out of the three I own, and I'd definitely recommend it. Just make sure the tailcap is screwed in when you get it or it will flicker.

Don't go for some POS DX light in this price range... For $37 you can get a quark MiNi 123, free shipping worldwide, built and shipped in the US in NEUTRAL white, not the awful purple from a cool white cheap-o LED. Neutral white will give you around 175 lumens, and cool white will be around 190 lumens. Personally, I think neutral is much better and it's also $2 cheaper. My 4sevens order shipped on a tuesday, got here on thursday. Plus, the MiNis are TINY!

Also, those "900 lumen" dx lights are closer to 250 lumens with an awful color rendering index.

I also like neutral white, but I have to disagree about the DX lights. The P7's put out around 450+ lumens at 3A, and this has been proven in light spheres. Quote from the 10.5 inch sphere thread on CPF,

"DX MC-E P60 drop-in______________ 3 NiMH AA Tenergy_________443.1 lumens ______ 1 sec"

Budget neutral/warm white drop-ins:

DealExtreme: $8.99 Cree P3-WH 5-Mode Memory LED Drop-in Module for WF-502B and Flashlights Alike (3.6V~8.4V)
DealExtreme: $11.29 Cree Q2 LED Drop-In Module for WF-502B and Similar Flashlights (3.6V~12V Input)

I agree that more expensive lights are better, but you're being a little harsh on the budget lights. It really just depends on the individual products; my Aurora P7 puts out a very nice high CRI white, and my Spiderfire has an almost pure white beam.
