Its definitely a scam, notice how the listing for the light is under 'go-karts', a clear sign that its bullshit.

This is ryansoh3's comment from the last HID that was a scam, 28 seller ratings, can't be just coincidence.

Guys, this is a scam.

I have been burned by this once, but thankfully PP refunded me my money without a hassle.

What really happens is the seller sends you a random piece of crap (I got a keychain light, others got a Chinese coin) and then disappears from eBay altogether.

Notice how he has 28 seller ratings?

Here's the thread: Ebay HID for 48.50! Maybe, Just Maybe Not a Scam. SCAM | BudgetLightForum.com

Don't know Josh i got one the same, it arrived but it was faulty( on off switch was hopeless case) but did get my money back when i threatened eBay action and worst feedback i could put into 80 characters. Not same seller but same location and picture and almost same price .Quite a few of these dealers have multiple accounts to spread the damage around .

if you received a broken 35W HID torch for $35, it could be worse ;-)

If we could show that folks who order this item reliably receive broken torches, would at least be better than receiving a useless trinket or something

Well, i contacted the seller and within 2 hrs i got a reply...
I asked:
Hey, just wondering 2 things... Have you shipped the item, and if so is there a tracking no. And, does the light have any sort of warranty?
He replyed:
HI
Friend
Thank you for your letter,
China post,
No tracking number,
paypal is the safest.
There are problems and contact me.
Thank you!

Just thought i'd put that up, so later i can try to understand how scammers work (if this is a scam)

There should be a warranty, which will be the usual send it back for refund . Catch is as you know postage from Australia overseas is really expensive. The postage cost back on an item that heavy was going to be 23 dollars not much point ..So if yours arrives and it works great. If not you have to be tough on your not sending it back as the postage you pay hardly makes it worth while, and you just want a refund because the seller sent goods that are stuffed. If item was 200 dollars well its worth it of course ,but not $35 , mine was $30 and as said $ 23 to send it back for refund or exchange .Which is almost a pointless endeavor.
