Came with a battery, o-ring, instructions and split ring for a key chain.
Uses a Cree XP-G LED R5.
Rear view of the head.
Uses 1, 1.5V AAA Nimh or Alkaline battery.
Has a spring in the end of the battery tube.
Rear view of the tail.
Tail stands

Lumen and run time from Fenix:
Fenix LD01 SS, Low - 3 Lumen, 27hrs
Fenix LD01 SS, Medium - 28 Lumen, 3hrs 8mins
Fenix LD01 SS, High - 77 Lumens, 1hr 28mins
I took Lux readings with a fully charged Energizer Rechargeable AAA 1.2V 850mAh Battery. I used my Meterman LM631 Light Meter.
Fenix LD01 SS, Low - 10 Lux @ 1 Meter
Fenix LD01 SS, Medium - 150 Lux @ 1 Meter
Fenix LD01 SS, High - 360 Lux @ 1 Meter
---------------------------------------------
Fenix LD01 SS, High @ 96"
Fenix LD01 SS, High @ 32'
Fenix LD01 SS, High @ 18'
Fenix LD01 SS, High @ 8'
----------------------------------------------
The Fenix LD01 Stainless Steel Special Edition is a very well made light. The Stainless Steel finish is excellent. No flaws or scratches in the finish.
Feels kind of hefty for a key chain light which to me a good thing. Feels tough.
The threads came lubed along with o-ring. The twisting action is very smooth.
The LD01 is a twisty. Starts off in medium, low then high.
The tint of the Cree XP-G LED R5 looks be almost a neutral color.
Uses common AAA battery. Run time seems to be good in high, Fenix claims a 1hr 28mins.
Fenix says it's ANSI/NEMA FL 1.
Waterproof to IPX-8. , 2m
Distance 50 Meters or 180'
