The description said brass plate but it looks copper to me. The price is really good if they cool as good as the SinkPads.

Yeah they defintaly dont look like brass. I mean its got to be better then what I've been using for 16mm bases (aluminum) I haven't had a chance to use the 20mm sinkpads yet but I might have to give these a try and reflow some XM-L2's

The Sinkpads are 2mm thick and these are 1.8mm. Not much but still a difference.
They should be superior to the aluminium pads. Temperature is very critical with the XML leds.

These appear to be normal MCPCBs with insulated pads.... Still, I reckon better than alu? Perhaps can be modded with some strategically placed indium

edit: intl-outdoor has some noctigon branded ones that look much better. I'd go with those instead of the fasttech ones.
