Hi guys,
I've been working on this for my Product Design course at college, it's an all-in-one system that combines speakers with RGB LED lights that can be remote controlled to create a multitude of effects to go with your music. Essentially, it is a 'Party System'
The LED's were purchased off Amazon (Link) - I only used half a meter of the 5 meter strip!
The speakers were borrowed from an old Sony MHC-RG290 HiFi system and the tweeter and amp were both from eBay. The materials included 18mm MDF for the main box housing of the speakers and 3mm acrylic to give the system some personality.
If you visit my Flickr you can see the Solidworks 3D CAD design to better understand the hole design.
Was pretty proud of the final outcome so though I'd share, and also let you guys know that the LED strip is brilliant for the price, you could use these as cupboard lighting or even in-car lighting, whatever you can imagine
