Halo's around the drivers in my kicks would look super sexy ...& it'd match my OEM gauges. It'd also keep my imaginary g/f from putting her feet on my speakers

I never ripped my dash apart, but the intensity is soo uniform. How Subawoo do it?

Acrylic & .....

Halo's are about 1/8" or so wide. Pretty small rings, & I will be retaining that sleek look

Anyone know how to duplicate those cool red rings?

I don't think that comes in rings. I'm looking for a ring that extends 360 degrees.

I need an enclosed circle/ring

Oh! Oh! are we playing madlibs? (noun, plural, with inappropriate apostrophe) around the (noun, plural) in my (noun, plural) would look super (adjective).

Toaster's around the garden hoses in my piggy bank would look super haunted.

Maybe I'm just getting too old to understand the kids these days. :(

I understood that...

But probably because I am 21. Lawlz.

I agree with the previous posters. EL wire is your best option. You could do acrylic rings but shaping the acrylic and getting the right opaque polish is difficult to diffuse evenly. Smd leds would be easiest to use because they are low profile and just emit enough lite. But a pain to solder to wire. Plus...kicking that bass and it'll crack the acrylic, or if your car is black and summer roles around. That'll warp it right off.

zero point zero two cents? By my calculations, that's enough to buy four drops of gasoline.

Wow, you guys are interesting.

I have no idea what you are talking about on Post #4.

When I stated "kick panels," I am speaking about the locations in my vehicle. I am an SQ guru. Kicks are the best location for midranges. Increase PLD's:p ...in short, it gives you the illusion that the soundstage widens & raises

How can I get El Wire to work w/out it overlapping? Try making Taking el wire & making a perfect circle WITHOUT it overlapping. ...hmm

I think I'll be taking advantage of the CNC machine at school & using acrylic. You're right. Dispersion. I hope it turns out solid & not here & there lol

You could use EL and then make an acrylic piece for to continue the "look" of the loop where the two ends of the EL have to "meet"

you can't get a perfect uninterrupted circle with el wire. You can get close though. I make a lot of costumes with el wire. Maybe drills a lot of tiny screws arount the perimeter of your speaker then mount a light inside of your speaker box.

in the pic i was not trying to make "perfect" circles. but if you look at the bottoms of the circles you'll see where the connections are. thats about as good as it gets.
