Ok so today I got my Aurabuy WF-500 (UltraFire Cree R5 5 Mode 1500LM White LED Flashlight Torch - Black (2 x 18650) - Free Shipping). Pretty inexpensive 3 Q5 LED light. Well first it came well packaged, it was in an padded water resistant envelope and then 2 layers of bubble wrap a box and another layer of bubble wrap then the light. so as you can imagine the flashlight arrived in perfect condition! shipping was very fast from Singapore only took 8 day. The price looks quite competitive with other company's similar to aurabuy.

Ok now the light! this is by far my biggest light so far! the construction of the light is very nice. The treads are smooth and seam as though there were lubed. the host fits 2 x 18650's and in my case I only own unprotected Panasonic cells but it does appear as though protected cells should fit in this host with no issues. The reflector is smooth and the placement of the LED's in the reflector aren't to bad, there not perfect but I've seen much worst. The lens appears to be plastic and isn't AR coated. when taking the head apart I could see some thermal adhesive on the underside of the LED area so it appears as the LED's are Thermally adhered to the pill which I've seen some ultrafire flashlight where there not :(. Now as for the LED's these aren't quite XM-L's but the light output on High isn't all that bad! I'm sure if there where XM-L's it would just be outstanding but for what it is it appears to work just fine. This flashlight has a 5 mode driver which is High>Med>Low>SOS>Strobe.

Spec's from the site:

High:.92A
Med:.44A

So my finial thought's about the light are that yeah it's a bit bigger then most of the lights I own and not the most powerful LED's on the market, but with the light output at these current draws using quality 18650's it should have a great run time with some good output some I like it!!!

How is the regulation? What is the operating voltage threshold?

I think perhaps ifyou could get a picture of the driver, folks could tell what kind of driver it was, or at least guess as to what kind of regulation it may have.

Probably went xp-g to get a bit of a tighter beam.

One feature I always like is low battery cutoff. I don't know why, I've never used that feature on any of my lights yet, but it's nice to know it's there... probably...

understood, I've only had it for a day or two now and those where my first hands on opinions about shipping and the light. I'm still working on adding more to the OP but I work really early in the morning so during the week I don't stay up late enough to get out and get some real testing done.
