So i just had to send the seller of the flashlight an email... It wont come on now:wtf: I took the battery out and recharged it, still doesnt work. This sucks.

Just noticed that the driver pill area gets hot when i turn the power on. Even though, the light doesnt come on.

Well dang they are quick, they already answered my email. Told me i have a 1 year warranty, then basically said to check the battery like i already knew to do. Looks like im going to have to send this off and get a new one... And DX has yet to ship my package so I can charge my batteries for the TrustFire flashlight. Also today while changing lenses i got a spec on my 405nm diode... What a crappy way to end the day. Then my first solder to one of my diode pins for my 1.3W laser i ever made came loose today, i knew it would eventually. Just didnt plan on fixing that too tomorrow...

Lets hope it doesn't have the same issues...

Edit: Do you have to return the other? if not what would you sell it for?

lets hope. if it does refund will be in order. Good thing about amazon is they will make sure you are happy. They are located in NJ and not some Chinese retailer, so i will give them a better shot at making good on their offer.

Now i wonder how much bigger the new one is going to be... good thing it has a strap.

They asked me if I was ok shipping it back and they ship me a new one after I give them the trackig number. I asked if I have to pay for shipping could they send me their 35W for paying for shipping again and for my troubles. They agreed and apologized for the ordeal.

Interesting, the light and battery looks like almost the same as the 75W version, just with some of the battery tube sliced off the end :)

Ya, they do look pretty much the same. I watched a video online that showed the battery had a blue and green led around the power button. Blue for 35W and green for 28W mode. Hope mine comes like that. Sucker is heavy duty though.

So i just had to cancel a order from DX... The whole reason i ordered from them last month on the 25th was to buy a charger for my 18650 batteries. I went ahead and got an iphone cord and some GID clicky button since they were so cheap. They finally shipped out those 2 items today and said the charger was still on back order. I went ahead and ordered a good charger from Larry and also ordered some Panasonic 3100 mAh 18650's. Already had 1 trustfire 16340 die and not hold a charge, so ill have to buy new brands in that size too. I cant find AW's for sale anywhere though.

Edit: HAHA! my laptop has old safety stickers on it as well

This one?
TrustFire TR-3T6 XM-L T6 3800LM Memory 3-LED White Flashlight - Black (5-Mode 3 x 18650) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

I just ordered that one I wasn't expecting 3800LM but I was hopeing for more than 1500LM :cryyy:

I have this one.
Trustfire P7-F1 SSC P7-C (SXO) 3-Mode 900-Lumen Memory LED Rechargeable Flashlight with AC Charger - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

I put this XMLAWT 1000-Lumen LED Emitter White Light Bulb (3.0~3.5V) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme
XML 1000LM into.
Its more like 800LM but its brighter than the P7 that was in it and even brighter than the headlights on my ATV.

I got some new Panasonic 3100 mAh batteries for the Trustfire TR--3T6. Ill take a few of the same pictures when it gets dark as the 24W so you can see just how bright it is. Should give you a good ideal on just how bright it will be. I better get a good 35W in return, dang shipping cost me $15:yabbem:

Ok here are some pics for comparison

as you can see its still pretty bright, maybe even just as bright or brighter than the 24W with these fresh good batteries in(?) 24W is on right

Nice light!

Hey can you by chance verify the contact pads on that battery?

The outside is marked positive, but do you know which is negative?

And what the other is??

Thanks, Im waiting for the replacement to be sent. I couldn't figure that out either. I was kinda hesitant to take my meter to it. Didn't want to some how accidentally short it out. Hopefully the manual it comes with will tell me. BTW i saw they had your star wars gun again on killsometime.com It makes it on there like once a year, lol.

I've already got my Panasonic 3100mAh NCR18650A Batteries they came in a week ago. I just need my light now...
I hope its as bright as my HID but who knows...

Those cells are awesome in my 445nm and my arctic.

I noticed when i use one in my laser it wont work, but my one good UltraFire 18650 makes the laser work. Anyone know why?

The manual won't tell you what the terminals are, however 1 of them will be a data line, used for telling the HID ballast which mode to be in, battery level etc.

I wonder if its not making contact since the heads on most ultrafire's have the pos nipple that is not really sticking out on the panisonic cells try some of these on the + terminal.
Neodymium Magnets disk 2/10" dia. x 1/16" thick
K&J can be expensive but I got mine quick.

So i got a new flashlight today(yup another one...) man these things are addictive. Its a tiny Xstar 500lm with 16 mode driver. Im probably going to disable the S.O.S.(which is really S.O.) and the low. That way i can have it go from medium, high, strobe. Its nice and compact, yet gives you plenty of light. The tail cap is magnetic too. Cost me $21 plus shipping. Runs off 1 16340 battery. I noticed instead of dying the light starts strobing when the battery gets low. Hope that doesnt damage the driver.

Here's some shots like the others for comparison
