Hello

Because of limited number of letters in the title I had to use a shitty grammar

Will I notice a big different between the M140(5.5mm) and the Nichia NDB7875(9mm) in burning and brightness ?

The thing is that I almost got everything settled up for the M140 build
And changing to 9mm will cost me shipping back cost, more money for batteries, extension for the host (+$20) or probably returning it and buying another one and buying for shipping+extra bucks for more expensive parts (around $35)
Maybe all this will cost me a 50-80 dollars more+waiting+searching for host, searching for a beautiful host is goddamn hard.

I wasn't really planning to change it because I thought that I would reach the 2.6w %100 with the G-2 and around 1.7A of current (boost), but I saw some thread where they didn't even hit the 1.5w (without the G-2)

Your opinion ?

The 9mm diodes are capable of producing more light than the M140, so yes.

It's not a huge difference though, and whether or not it's worth the extra cost is up to you.

Yep it will not be a huge difference as 445 takes four times the output to be twice as visually bright.:)

Not sure anyone can give you the specific answer you are looking for but either is a lot of power and will burn like crazy so I am not sure you will be able to perceive the difference.:)

increase "brightness=wattage increase/2"
That will lead to this burning=wattage increase * 2
That mean if I increased a 2.0w with 500mw, I will get %50 better burning
[/B]

I know this is old, but lol@your math... What is 50% of 2000mw? (not 500mw)
