Input 2-6V

It just might.
FlexDrive uses TPS63010 IC, and I just got hold of some TPS63020 ICs and see if they work.

It would be great if you gave us the link from where you got these. They look great, could be used for almost all lasers as TPS63000 chips are buck/boost drivers. Current can be changed by simply changing the SMD resistor which determines it.
 
So these are handmade?

For what specific type of flashlights did he intent those drivers?

All in all I think it would work pretty well with 445nm diodes, but ofcourse somebody would need to test it first.
 
These drivers are in mass production. He make a lot of those. I might host a group buy if any one is interisted. After i test them of course.
 
Some things can be understood also if you don't know Chinese ..... anyway .....

63000 "Promise" (or something similar)

17mmx3mm (but in the other post he say 15mm), 2.8 to 5.5V, low-med-high-strobe-sos modes (there is also something about programming the modes, but i cannot understand it)

All the rest is some sort of discussions about minimum voltages and types of batteries ..... i don't see in any place any reference to prices, at least not in these links.

Anyway, keep in mind that these drivers are usually designed for leds ..... i mean, voltage regulated, not constant current ..... or, at maximum, fixed current presets, but not with controls.

If it was constant current, it will have a RSENSE, and cause TPS63000 have a 500mV FB, at 1A the RSENSE must dissipate 500mW (this means, at least 1W or more SMD resistor) ..... and i don't see it, in that pics.

Other than this, the 63000 can give 1.2A only in buck mode, where in boost mode is limited to 800mA, so if he sell them for 1A (default, 1.2A on request), as he say, it must be in buck mode, not in boost mode.

Aww. Hopes of constant current are dashed. That ATtiny13 chip was calling to me.
