I'm assuming it is a scam. I didn't mess with it. It was too good to be true, so I avoided it.

If it works for someone, they stand to make a tidy profit, but I'd be willing to bet if you place that order they will suddenly be out of stock.

EDIT: Well, I went through the ordering process and chose paypal. I have 12 hours to go to my paypal address and pay the invoice.

Any thoughts on how much hassle it would be to deal with using paypal if they try to scam me somehow?

they take paypal, so you can dispute if there are some issues?? price is unreal...thats for sure :)

Lol, I found that site a few days ago, and went through with a 2x purchase, never sent the paypal funds though.

I assume that they ship you an empty box to win the paypal dispute.

No if it was shipped and was under weight you could win simply by proving the item was way to light to be what they sold you.
You would end up with a box of shoes or other random cheap things they could find, maybe even a box of vhs tapes.

My computer did not complain, I am running chrome though - maybe they don't have an exploit for it yet?

On my order it said "they were sorry but since I was a new customer I could not use paypal."

What is amazing is the number of scam reports on this site and the guy's e-mails and how many people accepted that and wired money instead!!!

P.S. Just got a clean scan from Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

The crazy thing is that when you try to use PayPal, they give you an order update that says since you are a new customer, you cannot use that payment option.

PayPal is probably through with him/her.

Your story is a good learning lesson though. Thanks for sharing it.
