These are great looking pocket mini lasers with more than enough power in such a tiny host, I've built five in the past 6 months all at 1.8a with M140 diodes and now building a few more lower powered single mode for my collection.
They are only for very short runs 15seconds max, they get warm fast, the modules are all filed down on a drill press before diode pressed in, to a nice tight pressed fit in the stainless head since these hosts measure 10cm by 13.5mm. I also use a little thermal adhesive on the pins to prevent them breaking, the Xboost V7 will fit with a little gentle filing on all sides I've even used Himel,s 5.5a boost driver in one set at 1.8a works niclely, if your happy with 1.45a then the Flexdrive V5 is perfect. Oh I nearly forgot the inside of the brass threaded pill needs a genourus amount of filing with a round file on a drill press to be able to fit any of these drivers, care needs to be taken when first unscrewing the brass pill as it is epoxied to the head and a vice and shifter is needed to break the seal. They are definitely worth all the work, the end result is a heavy compact stainless high power, wonderful momentary clicky, work of art.
Imr 10440 batteries are preferred!
