Strange feeling in eye after using laser ?

Hi everyone !

I have a 1,5 watt 445 laser made by Blord a long time ago, he also sent me some red goggles.(like these 200nm-540nm Laser Safety Goggles - $68.00 : Laser Pointer Store, Your Lucky Laser Pointers, Powerful Laser Pointer for sales)

I always wear the goggles, but i feel like somehow, when I burn something close of me, the intense brightess of the blue laser is affecting me.

it feels like it's tiring my eyes even if i use the laser less than 1 min.

Someone has similar experience ?

If you're wearing appropriate glasses there should be NO intense brightness, at least not directly from the beam.

What colour is the light? You may see orange/red fluorescence but you should see next to no blue light.

I see the intense brightess because it's radiating all over my cheeks under the glasses.
When i put the glasses the beam of the laser disapear, and the dot is a strange purple colour !

Put them on outside during a clear blue day. Your eyes may feel a little weird after.

I think you're right it's the goggles that gave me this feeling

Even though the goggles I can feel that 1,5 watt is really powerful, scared me a little bit even though i got it for 2 years now, I had a 50mw before but this was nothing compared to this !
