Hmmm. That's very interesting. It looks near identical to mine. Let me know what DL says.

You think so?

It's a possibility. But up close at least with mine it looks like a bunch of tiny streaks. all facing one direction.

EDIT: just found this O-like waterproof laser, not actually waterproof!

Looks kind of similar to what we're experiencing.

I don't see how i could have had that happen. It's quite dry here in Baltimore, at a very nice 70-80 degrees, so I can leave my AC and Heat off.

I have no idea either. But the patterns look almost identical to condensation. It may have even been there from manufacturing or shipping.

Mine was not like this when i first got it though, something changed. If I can't get DL to repair it, I may try and dissemble it myself and buy separate parts.

I'm not convinced it's a issue with a dirty lens.

@Fenix - It's probably got to do with cleaning it if all the streaks are in one direction.

@Spartan - It has to do with the lens if the dot is ugly, not many other possibilities, other than the diode window is dirty. Also when condensation dries it can leave stuff on the lens and make it look like it's always has condensation on it, it could have got cold during the night and condensated in the morning like grass does, you didn't know it and it dried.

That's what I thought but it still looks identical to condensation. I'm hoping compressed air will help.

I'm starting to wonder if the 'crooked' feature on my laser cause a back reflection from the laser hitting the edge of the front cap, then reflecting back to the lens and causing damage. It's not going away.

You mean that it's off center a little? Mines like that too. But it's nowhere near hitting the cap. And even then it's matte black paint.
