Hi VV,
I just ordered 3 more still have some left,trying to find smaller ones same thickness so i don't have to work them to much.

I am set up for some testing in the morning,i pulled the diode out of the build in the labby with a socket on. Need some rest long day I'm not use to going to parties i refrained from indulging there had to drive ,but the wife had a great time oh well..tomorrow pal

Hi VV,
I to am waiting for Jordan to introduce the 20 and 25mm sinks this will narrow down host sizes considerably and make it that much easier . It's a real shame we have to go through all of this modding to build these days being no more hosts machined out there. It's like a time warp in reverse so to speak but it makes us think about different ways to achieve our goals.

This is true Rich,
Altho, I do like moding flashlights and really like a couple I've done. I eventually try to get my hands on a lathe and milling machine. One down side is just not alot you can do on a lathe that hasn't already been done. Im wanting to do something like combining in a handheld with a clear cover so you can see it in action. I have some diodes on the way, one a nubm44, thinking about combining 44's and correcting them. Anyway, the lathes still good for making heatsinks. I like that skywolf, got to get me one

I just ordered 2 501D's there double 18650 lights see how they make out.. I did testing on those 7875's ill try to load the vids i made if i can later , mom and dad on my wife side are coming over so i got to get my butt moving check you out later buddy

nice little EDC i bet this would be awesome for a single mode diode, ill have to check it out. hey the 501's are a main stay, they have a sink large enough to carry a list of diodes safely . Personally i love em its time proven for one , compact and they are available . Cool find buddy..
