Hello all, First of all thanks for the help of some members like livinloud and grainde (and others who replied to my question thread) for clearing things up and letting me know what would or wouldn't work with this build.

Now to start off, I bought a PL450B diode(pre-pressed) from DTR and ran it with a 220mA Buck driver from survivallasers. I'm using a three element glass lens and two rechargeable 16340 batteries. All of this goes into the C6 Host (also from survivallasers). I don't have an LPM so I don't know its output so I can't really say. But if I were to guess:D... I'd say around 150mW and at least 100mW.

I really like the single mode diode's round dot and beam which put the M140 to shame:shhh:

Okay enough talking, time for beam shots:eg:

Nice shots Photonz!

I love seeing that deep blue, it certainly looks amazing. Your camera also seems to pick up 450nm very well :p

Looking good. Respect for going with the single mode and not sacrificing just for power.
+1. ( my plus 1 really means plus one now!!!!)

Early in my collection I had a laserbtb 100mw 450nm. I didn't know anything about it and sold it. The money went to something special, but I still regret selling it. It defiantly had a nice dot, and for a low power it had much less violet in it than a m140.

I need to do one of these myself. Maybe ill save one of my sinner pens for a single mode . Just looks so clean. I know I've commented already, but this may be the reason for my next build. :D

I like the idea of having a single mode in a pen (especially a nice one) I think it deviates even more from the usual massive hosts you see with 3W 445's.

Glad to contribute towards what next to build:)

Nice job +1

Would love to see the internals! :D but if you dont want to take it apart, thats cool. I feel like that about some of my builds...

Thanks:)
Sorry, but I killed my diode on the first attempt of this build and I'm not about to take any more risks:D

Looks great! I can't get a tight beam like that with either of my 445-450nm lasers. Good job
