I've had packages sit in that status for well over a week - nothing to worry about. Anything coming from China will be slow, just the way it works (at least for me anyway).

China's tracking service is one of the worst in the world. You cant really go by anything it says. I had one saying it was sitting there till 3 days before it arrived. I dont even bother looking anymore.

Not a fan of the Gatlin. Just unnecessary complexity and expense in the host. Too showy. What O-Like does with their host and the specs of a 445nm portable will determine if I just get off my butt and do a 445nm build myself or not.

The main thing I want is focus ability, and something done about the fast axis if at all possible within a decent price point.

Am I dreaming that we can have it with an adjustable focus, fast-axis correction ≥800mW and get it for ≤$200?

It's been done for around 250$ i believe, you'd have to ask a known builder for more info on that.

replaced the driver with a flexmod (need analog modulation)

its the same strip as every other 445 diode... seems to be collimated pretty well... about 1cm wide strip after 10ft or so... (length of my office is as far as i can go :))

love your avatar btw, im just watching it and laughing my ass off lol

Its been well known O-Like re-ships, and drop ships, like most other companies. The only good thing about O-Like is that they actually meter the outputs of their lasers. Maybe the labs are dropped shipped?

1) It says that it's focusable, but how do you actually focus the beam? Do you use a tool (what?) to turn the inner disk of the host?
2) can it be connected to batteries?
3) flecom: why did you replace the driver?

you can remove the little black disk in the front, then you can see the collimating lens inside... its slotted so using a suitable flat head screwdriver (wider than the lens as to only touch the brass) and you can turn it... my other module came unfocused so i had to sit there tweaking it... :(

the driver it comes with wants 12VDC so if you use a 12VDC battery, sure

I did replace the driver with a flexmod, I am running the driver at 5VDC input and set it at about 1.25W output as measured by my meter

i replaced the driver because I needed analog modulation... to join the rest of its friends :)

you can also get an idea for how tiny the o-like module is... its on the top right
