The NUBM44's have a huge divergence on one axis. Yep, a cylindrical lens is the easiest and quickest way to correct the fast axis.

That's what I'm doing and I'm going to try and replicate what milos did and his results, I've ordered all the lens he used and I'm fabricating my own version of a mount for the lens with ElectricPlasma's machining help.....

I can tell you with authority that 0.015 steel isn't thick enough. Went right through that.
