My new 445 pointer

I made a 445 pointer just yesterday :D
I love the colour also blue is my favorite colour so I'm loving it so far, it's in a super compact host the TR-801 :) FlaminPyro made a nice copper heatsink for it, I'm using a M140 diode from DTR & my AtMaBoost set at 1200mA :)
I'm using a glass lens for 445 :)

I can keep it on for about 2 minutes before it gets warm, not bad for such a tiny host :D

I'm not crazy about power & I switched the driver to a 440mA & a Acrylic lens, it's still awesome but now I can keep it on 5 minutes ish at a time :D

Still amazing... I love the TR-801 as a host. Did you drill the centre out of the pill? I need to do that to mine to fit my driver in!!!

Well FlaminPyro did that :)
He made the heatsink so it extended into the pill with a custom contact board & the copper heatsink had a nice slot to perfectly fit it :) it was still a real tight fit though :) much smaller then I expected & it's really nice :)

Dammit!

I drop it down the stairs & it broke, wire disconnected then I powered up my driver & now that broke too because I didn't put OVP.

Damn, I've gotta put some stuff for sale, I really liked that blue... Now I've gotta make another :p

I also made a pointer in a TR-801. FlamingPyro was too busy to make me a heatsink so i got one from jayrob.

I also deanodized and polished my host. Took me a few hour but it was so worth it!

I saw the thread, it looks great :beer:

Looks like neither of us have had the best of luck with these 445's...
First I killed an osram now this too :cryyy:
I feel so stupid :banghead: I had to drop it down the stairs! Oh well I just put a few things for sale so I can buy another M140 :)

It's toast :( I already tried testing it with a working driver & I saw no light :( I also killed the last AtMaBoost I had :(

Oh well I'm gonna make it lase again, soon :D
I had enough parts to make a red laser & I did & I'm selling it for 60$ I'm also selling a bunch of other stuff, waiting for the thread to be aprroved , I can buy an M140 then :)

I should keep those wriststraps on the flashlight from now on... :p

I'll make an even more epic Beamshot once I rebuild it :D
