Looks impressive! I had lurked here earlier and I'm glad to see you got it working with the new diodes. I hope you enjoy the (now functioning) laser! I know I will when I get my ducks in a row for my own.

Yeah, I'm new to the lasing world, but I learn fast and I always try to take the right safety precautions. If an idiot like me can do it, what's your excuse? Get yourself some goggles and maybe you can get your hands on some powerful photon-shooting devices like the best of them.

Lasers!:
405nm 100mW~ in an Altoid's tin. Probably looks like a detonator to everyone else, because they give me scared looks when I have it out in public...
405nm 125mW~ PVC Host
445nm M-140 Diode in a C6 pushing 1.62A
532nm 5mW~ DX Laser
635nm 5mW Laser Pen (no clue where I got this one)
635nm Mits diode looking for a home that Lazeerer is soon going to provide in the form of his Small Sun kit
660nm 250mW~ Labby(now dead, working on making a better portable lab-style that you can see in this thread)

If I took the time to thank everyone on this forum who has helped me with their posts, then I'd probably get banned for spam, so I'll let my signature to it for me: ! And for the ones with big egos:

Yeah, but I was doing a nice budget build. I knew in theory this driver would work, and it did

BTW, it hardly got warm on minute long burn sessions, which is plenty of a duty cycle for me.

I used 7135 single chip for a red diode. Wish I had a scope, because that statement doesn't really mean much. I can't tell if it was spiky or not, but it did hold the current steady.
