A post from a while back included the specs of 1.2 W @ ~850mA, can anyone else test and confirm this?

a build for my friend:

flexdrive v5 at 600 mA
power= 360 mW
aixiz 445 glass lens
diode= A130
heatsink=same as jayrob's 18650 kit.

Updated again. Look at those different values at 1000mA in the graph..

That's aixiZ new lens, 400-455 is the approximate wavelenght range of the AR coating. Didn't you know? AixiZ announced them just before the 4th of July. Hakzaw1 as been selling them, I got mine about two weeks ago :D

Ii/Po graph:

awxjfa.jpg

Am i seeing things or are there kinks in these plots (except for the green one which almost has the right shape except for the bump)?!?

I plotted five 445nm diodes so far and not one of them had anything resembling a kink. Or am i misunderstanding something here? :thinking:

It would be good to know if any diodes actually exhibit such behavior and where, that's why i'd like to know if these are correct... Might warrant a higher resolution replot on my test diodes, even tho something like this would be hard to miss...

My diode is now decanned... Some dirt got on the window and damaged the glass.
It seems to work just fine, for now.

All the points are different diodes, not bench tests of single diodes, so it's probably just diodes with different efficiency.

See this graph for bench tests, as you can see, there is no kinks in those:
